QIAO · Collector begins with substantial rare loose stones. Proportion, line and structure are used to keep the colour, texture and volume of the jadeite at the centre of the composition.

Rather than surrounding the material with extensive ornament, the design introduces Meetcute Jade’s visual language into the stone’s collecting context, creating pieces intended to be viewed, worn and kept.
